“Everyone who listens to these words of mine and acts on them will
be like a sensible person who built a house on rock. Rain came down, floods
rose, gales blew and hurled themselves at that house, and it did not fall. It was
founded on rock” (Matthew 7:24-25).

As God's transforming love continues...

Roncalli changes form and function, but not location;

Bethany becomes Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel - solitary dwellings nestled in the trees

(Bethany and Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel from the opposite side);

Tabor is replaced by Micah and Joseph;

Matthew and Luke take over Cenacle's location.

We give heartfelt thanks to God:

for the gift of Lebh Shomea House of Prayer;

for Lebh Shomea as a place where we have come to experience and to believe in
God’s compassionate love for us;

for the opportunities which this House of Prayer offers for contemplation, silence,
solitude, study, and community;

for Sarita Kenedy East and the Kenedy family, whose generous bequest provided
a place and a space for Lebh Shomea to come into being;

for the Congregation of the Missionary Oblates of Mary Immaculate, under whose
auspices Lebh Shomea exists;

for our families, friends, and benefactors who have encouraged and supported us
in a myriad of ways;

for the dedicated employees of this House of Prayer, whose labor helps make it a
place of exquisite beauty and warm welcome;

for past and present Members of the Advisory Board of Lebh Shomea, who have
shared graciously of their time and their wisdom;

for all the children of God who have passed through Lebh Shomea and who, by
their presence, their prayer and their work, have contributed to the well-being of
the House of Prayer;

for all God’s creatures at Lebh Shomea, with whom we live and who reveal to us
something of God: animal, avian and aquatic life; flora and fauna; water, air, fire
and earth; the sun, the moon and the stars; darkness and light, night and day.

“This is the day that the Lord has made;
let us be glad and rejoice in the Lord” (Psalm 118:24).
